There is nothing better than wearing that truly comfortable pair of jeans that will keep you going all day long.  You know the ones, where they don’t bunch around the ankles to make you look like you’re wearing your big sister’s pants, nor try to slide off your hips, while accentuating your curves beautifully?  Skinnies will do that for you.  Depending on the style, they’ll lovingly become the centre of attention or highlight the rest of your outfit’s ensemble for that hard to find polished, yet casual, look.

Plus Size Skinnies on sale at Old Navy, starting from $19, until Oct 2nd.

It’s been just over a month, and I’m already truly impressed with Old Navy’s selections for the plus-sized fashion lover.  They have affordably cute skinnies in prints, tuxedo and coated colours to choose from, all of which will make it easier to create those stylish outfits you’re looking for this fall and winter.

Here are some of my fave pant styles that are available ON SALE RIGHT NOW (until October 2nd!)  These pants will help make any outfit look fab on you!

You may remember from my last post on Old Navy that I had purchased a pair of dark-wash skinny jeans, and they are by far one of my favourite pairs for the season. I wear them everywhere, because they’re just so comfortable while looking great with everything I pair it with, and right now Old Navy has that exact pair on sale for only $19! I highly suggest trying them out for yourself!

Remember, the best way to purchase online is to measure yourself and then compare those numbers to the site’s sizing charts.  I’ve found Old Navy’s sizing to be true to measurement fit so far, thanks to being able to compare the sizes I need with what their charts state.

So which pairs are your fave?  What looks do you want to try this season?

You know what I can’t believe? That I’m even wearing skinny jeans at my age. And yet here I am, all tickled pink that Old Navy has them on sale 🙂

Perhaps because of the name “skinny” these pants got a bad rap somehow, but they are such a fab cut on any body. Its probably one of the most versatile cuts for anyone, literally. 😀 Go get some skinnies!

I love skinny jeans. That’s all I’ve worn for the past 5+ years. I love the new Fall fashion at Old navy. I just purchased a big order online for the whole fam.

I do not look good in skinnies, that being said I finally got a pair because they’re so easy to wear with boots 🙂

I love skinny jeans with boots! Can’t wait for the colder weather! Now all I have to find is a great pair of leather boots! Any suggestions?

I have finally started wearing skinnies this year and I love them. I do have a pair of old navy jeans – the only problem is I get the dreaded *butt sag* after wearing them a while 🙁 Not sure how to avoid that!

I haven’t had to deal with sagging, so can’t give advice from personal experience, but what I’ve heard is to try a smaller pant size if you can – you might be able to if the material is a stretchy spandex/cotton. Or possibly get them hemmed to improve the fit for your specific sizing.

My only other suggestion would be control undies (like spanx); which will give the compression that a smaller sized pant would, without compromising your comfort level by wearing a pant that would be a bit too small for your frame. 🙂

HTH!

Hey chick, how did you find the sizing? True to size? Or on the big side?

I found it to be a true fit, but I know one person who didn’t feel that way. I would definitely compare their size chart first to get a perfect fit. Mine are just a tad loose, but thats how I like ’em. 🙂

I enjoy skinny jeans with boots and with sweaters too. Cute prints.
