“[easyazon_link keywords=”I love you. I know.” cloak=”n” locale=”CA” localize=”y” nw=”y” nf=”y” tag=”geewitsty-20″]I love you. I know.[/easyazon_link]” can be found on a whole bunch of household items, including his and hers bath towels.
Did you know that iconic declaration of love was not originally scripted? You can thank Mr. Ford for that incredibly beautiful moment between Leia and Han. While not exactly improvised on the spot, Ford saw the “I love you, too!” in the script and felt the movie needed something more.
Experience the power of “I know,” with your loved one this February!

Need something less intense? Recently saw this movie on Netflix, and loved every minute of this uplifting tale.
The relationships made are absolutely sweet, like candy hearts, awwwwh.?
*Sidenote: If you work anywhere in web development, you’ll wish your day actually worked as portrayed by Hollywood, but it’s all good. And, if there was such thing as Google Customer Support for the general public, life would be amazing.

“*WANTED* Someone to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You’ll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before.”
After reading this ad, three journalists answer the call to see what this would-be time traveller is all about.
The movie is set during the modern era, with modern tech, so the guy has to be nuts right? He couldn’t possibly be telling the truth. What’s the con? What meds should he be on?
Watch how eccentric supermarket clerk Kenneth teaches three disillusioned journalists how to believe again, as they “train” to become time travellers.

If you can’t find a girl, then well, just make one, right? It’s absolutely a crazy movie, but like many of John Hughes’ films, it’s still funny today.
[easyazon_image align=”center” cart=”n” cloak=”n” height=”500″ identifier=”B01257MECW” locale=”CA” localize=”y” nw=”y” nf=”y” src=”https://www.geeklife.ca/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/61Yj6j6xPWL.jpg” tag=”geewitsty-20″ width=”421″]An entirely awkward film, if you think about it hard enough, but how sweet is it watching Marty trying to get his parents to love each other again?
[easyazon_image align=”center” cart=”n” cloak=”n” height=”500″ identifier=”B01BT0BFSU” locale=”CA” localize=”y” nw=”y” src=”https://www.geeklife.ca/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/61aEZI0T2BGL.jpg” tag=”geewitsty-20″ width=”389″] Wade struggles to survive, and longs (sulks) to reconnect with the love of his life. Hilarity ensues, as Francis pursues. Definitely worthy of a repeat!

Intrigue, adventure, romance, and the wild beauty of amalgamating all alien species and cultures. While the overall plot was thin, the romance was fun, and the marriage of science-fiction and fantasy is awe-worthy.

The Princess Bride is THE love story, and should be revered as such whenever possible. It has action, drama, and The Giant.
Possibly consider preparing an epic (though responsible) drinking game with your date, because what else are you going to do with all the “Inconceivable!”s and “As you wish”es.
This movie is also a tear jerker for me when Mandy Patikin repeatedly says, “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” It turns out that Patikin’s father had died from pancreatic cancer in 1972, and was very much in Patikin’s mind during the fight scene with the man in black. We might be seeing the six-fingered, man in black about to die, but what Patikin was seeing was the cancer that killed his father.
Pass the tissue!

Watch how Dr. Jackson falls in love with an alien princess, and the lengths he’ll go to to keep her safe. If you do choose to watch this movie, be sure to grab a copy of the Director’s Cut.

“From the creators of the Matrix trilogy.” UGH! This movie had so much potential, it almost physically hurts how bad they messed up here. Chances are that this movie will still become a cult classic, because it is so very bad, in such a so very good way.
I keep saying that if they had spread this movie into it’s own trilogy (one movie per sibling,) it would have been gladly received with open arms. As it is, we’re left wondering which fanfic story this story was based on, ’cause OMG it hit nearly every cliched bad-fic genre out there.
A lycan. With wings.
That’s two counts of a hot-mess knocked out of the park right away. Add a weirdly named know it all, who is “unintentionally” the center of attention heroine into the mix, and I’m left feeling blessed that none of your little ponies were involved in the making of this film.
Here are some items to think about before your Valentine’s date arrives.
Bottom line, have good options at hand for both of you, so that your night isn’t wasted over a conversation like this…
“What are we going to watch?”
“I have all the Harry Potter!”
“Nope.”
“Oh.”
“Doh.”
They light up a room.
And if you need a bit of psychology, whenever given as a gift, the receiver associates the scent of those flowers to the moment they were received. Leaving sense-memory gift for your loved one’s olfactory will practically guarantee that they’ll continue to cherish your night together for days to come.
Give them flowers.
And if you live in the GTA, give an original The Kiss bouquet filled with love and devotion by Tonic Blooms, who boasts same day delivery if you order in time for your flowery needs (though I’m thinking that might be on pause for Valentine’s Day – don’t chance it).
So what are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Do you have a must-see movie for the ultimate date night?

LOL at Guinea Pigs snacking. Well Aeryn I have not seen a lot of these actually. I will add Valerian to my list. That's one I was curious about actually. I wasn't aware that line you referred to was actually a line from Star Wars featuring Han and Leia. These flowers are stunning!!! Kiss Bouquet by Tonic Blooms is one I would LOVE. So colourful and cheery. Always snack during movies. Of course!! The Princess Bride is one of my all time favourites. So funny. I have adored Mandy forever. One of my favourites.
