Adventure at the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

As you may have seen on Instagram or Facebook recently, I had the chance to check out Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada during the week it had first opened.  I was really excited, ’cause I usually make it a point to check out aquariums in every city I visit, so was stoked the moment I heard Toronto was finally going to have on of its own.

The aquarium finally opening its doors to the public couldn’t be timed more perfectly for Jay & I, as we were eager to find something to do to celebrate 15 years of dating each other, lol.

At $30/person, the admission fee is more on the expensive side of things, especially if you’re planning to bring your whole family with you, but I really feel it’s worth it.

Alternatively, if you’re visiting Toronto for a bit and want to visit 5 of our favourite attractions, including Ripley’s Aquarium, pick up a CityPASS and save money for your trip!

Its quite educational, with various stations for adults and kids alike to learn more about what kind of creatures we can find in deep waters.  And if you have a thing for sharks, the Dangerous Lagoon is amazing (and features the longest moving sidewalk in North America. How cool is that?)

It was so awesome, I made Jay go through the shark tanks with me twice, lol.

Visiting Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Anyway, I have pics of our trip, and wanted to share my faves with you!

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, right beside the CN Tower.
Sometimes it was just fun to people watch too, heh.

Space alien?
This is an Epaulette Shark.
Awwwh, Mr & Mrs?

So much FUN trying to capture these little guys in action. Could have stood in front of the jellyfish tanks all evening long!

Those are only a handful of my faves, lol!  If you’d like to see the rest, you can check them out on my G+ album. 🙂
