Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time and Peter Pan are being released to Blu-Ray/DVD combo packs this week. Two fantastical movies about time that are sure to inspire the creative minds in your family.
65th Anniversary of Disney’s Peter Pan
Walt Disney Studios opened their vault to release a 65th Anniversary Edition of Peter Pan!
This new edition, part of the Walt Disney Signature Collection, is packaged with two hours of never-before-seen bonus features, including: Stories from Walt’s Office (a study of Walt’s love of flying, and a look at Disney’s company planes), a nostalgic reunion interview with Wendy and John (Kathryn Beaumont and Paul Collins), and Sing-Along renditions of “You Can Fly” and “Never Smile at a Crocodile”.
I recently received a Blu-Ray copy of this movie, and I absolutely cannot wait to share it with my nephews. I can’t remember the last time I watched the well known Disney animation of Peter Pan, though it was one of my favourites growing up.
During my research for Peter Pan facts, I came across this lovely colouring sheet celebrating the 65th Anniversary that I’m printing out for the nephews to enjoy! Click on the image to download the PDF.

A Wrinkle in Time
Based on Madeleine L’Engle’s “A Wrinkle in Time”, Disney Studios took on the challenge of bringing the “unfilmable” story to life, and thus developed a truly gorgeous, heart-warming movie capturing, space, time and faith.
A NASA scientist figured out a way to jump through space and time, and it’s up to his daughter, son and the children’s classmate to bring him back home. Follow their journey through uncharted territory, as they land on a planet that possesses all of the evil known to the universe.

Celebrate the what-ifs of human life, and how we may be tied to the galaxies around us.
Both the 65th Anniversary Edition of Peter Pan and A Wrinkle in Time will be released to Blu-Ray/DVD on June 5, 2018.
