Have you visited The Stockyards mall yet? The one on the corner of St. Clair Avenue West and Weston Road? It’s my new hunting ground for fashion, because from what I can see, they have more trendy plus-size fashion than any other mall that is easily accessible in Toronto. I grew up on malls like Yorkdale and Eaton Centre, but neither of these popular shopping centres have anything to offer a fashion conscious, 2X+ full-figured woman between the ages of 24 to 80 any longer. The Stockyards though, has both a Winners (with a well-rounded plus size collection), and now an Addition Elle (woot!); and if you happen to fit an X or 1X, you also have Old Navy and Target to keep up with trends too. That’s potentially four places of awesome all in one mall; I almost feel like I’m dreaming!
So imagine my excitement when I walked by a sign that stated that Addition Elle was “coming soon”!

Heh, you can even see TheHubs and I carrying our just-purchased groceries in the window, lol. I had heard that Addition Elle was actually open last Saturday (their Grand Opening celebration begins tomorrow, woot!) so TheSis and I went in for a quick peek, while on the way to The Fan Expo, and this happened…
Mind the chipped nailed, but love the jewellery pieces I just picked up @AdditionElle @ShopStockyards #thestockyards pic.twitter.com/W7juBFCMCC

Here are some pics that made me want to cry happy tears. I feel like Addition Elle has finally arrived to the trend-setting store it wants to be. There have been some great attempts in the past, but this Fall fashion display is flawless.
I cannot wait to head back, and get my closet ready with a few key pieces for my Fall 2014 wardrobe.
Have you visited The Stockyard’s Addition Elle yet? What did you think?
